Build your own home on the beach....: with Ian Rolls at The Lido
Come and be part of the island and build your own home on the beach...
As part of Seaside Shenanigans, turn up with a bucket and spade and build a small version of your own house and garden on a giant map of Jersey (complete with parish boundaries) that artist Ian Rolls will mark out on the sand at Havre des Pas Bathing Pool.
From about 11.00 am the map should be drawn out and you can come along to be part of a fun community project that will grow during the day with more and more people adding their homes and local landmarks made out of sand, stones, seaweed and found objects. Some of Jersey's top photographers will be on hand to photograph the work in progress, culminating in a photograph from a drone at about 3.00 pm to capture the whole artwork on the beach from above.
Hang around as the tide comes in a watch the island disappear!
FREE and suitable for all ages

The concept developed by Kerry-Jane and Ian was part of the inspiration for this new project for Seaside Shenanigans.
