"My work still explores perception and light, but I now will be looking at this through the mediums of photograms, shadow images produced on photographic paper and chemograms, a combination of painting with photographic chemicals and exposure to light in the darkroom.

Through movement, the use of various length exposures and the application of various chemicals, unique tonal images can be created. Darkroom work is something I was brought up on, but I now what to expand and explore in greater depth images that can be created without a camera, questioning the actual medium of photography itself. As this work is quite different from digital photography I will be intrigued to see the public's reaction to the work."
