Christine Witham is a textile artist, who applies her traditional skills and experience to making jewellery.
She also teaches adults and children regularly at the Harbour Gallery and is the art therapist at Eyecan, formally The Jersey Blind Society.
Christine studied embroidery at Goldsmiths College and at the Central School of Art and her work has appeared in many books and magazines.
Christine expresses her ideas through the medium of jewellery, just as a painter would use brush and canvas. Over time she has developed a range of techniques to realise her unusual art. Her necklaces and distinctive and characterised by their colour, detail and skilful craftsmanship.
To complement her statement necklaces Christine creates a range of smaller items and enjoys meeting the public and selling them at local markets and events.
