An exhibition of Mike’s artwork inspired by living next to the sea is demonstrated in the reception area of the Radisson Blu hotel at the waterfront. Surrounded by yachts, fishing boats, harbours and the shoreline of Jersey it’s the ideal location for the vibrant and colourful artwork of crabs, lobsters, buoys, fishes on fishing lines. Including recycled items which have been brought back to life and repurposed, it merges the vibrant artwork with something a little bit more practical and useful.

Nick Romeril is the 2018 Artist in Resident for the Friends of the Scott Polar Research Institute and traveled to the Antarctic Peninsula on HMS Protector. The residency is sponsored by the Royal Navy and Bonhams. "The Skipton Open Studios will the first chance to see some of the paintings, sketchbooks and the first cut of the VR film I shot while on the ship. The VR film is in collaboration with Flux who lent me the camera and will edit and produce the film."
